    Peruvian Shamanism Apprenticeship Series

    Pachakuti Mesa Tradition (PMT)

    Cross-Cultural Shamanic Arts for Personal and Planetary Renewal
    New Apprenticeship Series in Berkeley, California

    Consisting of five weekend intensives, this is an apprenticeship into a living lineage
    of Peruvian Shamanism. Part 1 is open to all those wishing to deepen their connection to Spirit and the animate universe, no prior experience is required. Parts II – V build upon the teachings and initiations received in the prior weekends, which must be taken in order to continue on in the series.

    Part I The Call to Heal (Releasing the Past) June 24 - 26, 2016
    Part II A Balance of Power (Transforming the Present) Oct. 21 - 23, 2016
    Part III The Condor’s Quest (Creating the Future) Feb. 24 - 26, 2017
    Part IV The Hummingbird’s Ascent (Living the Mystery) July, 21 - 23, 2017
    Part V Our Shamanic Self (Serving the Earth) Dec. 1 - 3, 2017

    This program has been carefully crafted to offer people from all walks of life a heartfelt initiation into the healing power and earth honoring ceremonial artistry of Peruvian mesa lineages. If you are interested in this tradition, yet unsure about attending the entire apprenticeship, you can attend Weekend 1 and then decide if this spiritual practice is for you. If you would like to attend this series, yet cannot make it to Part I on June 24 - 26, please let us know and we can work out an alternate date.

    Judy Hoaglund, a senior teacher of the PMT, sanctioned and personally trained by don Oscar Miro-Quesada, will co-teach this series. She has been teaching the PMT Apprenticeships since 2009. Judy lives in Santa Rosa where she teaches classes in shamanism and incorporates the PMT, Reiki, bioenergetics, hypnotherapy and intuitive guidance into her private healing practice.

    Jnana Gowan: As the director of the Ukhu Pacha Healing and Inquiry Space in Albany, California, Jnana has a private practice & leads transformational programs which combine her depth of knowledge of yoga, ritual, ceremony, & healing. A PMT mesa carrier since 2008 & a teacher since 2000, she’s completed the 5-Part Series (twice) she has gleaned deep teachings from her apprenticeship-work with author and healer, Mateo Magee.

    Tuition for Part I: $350 -$525, sliding scale. Class hours for all weekends are Friday 7-10pm, Saturday 9:30 am to 9 pm, and Sunday 9:30 am to 3 pm.
