Bruce Sherman Military psychologists say that a soldier's deep depression leading to suicide can be caused by loss of 'moral certainty'. Therefore the 'moral certainty' that makes one willing to go to war against an 'evil' other is the programming that soldiers receive in order to go into battle in the first place. When that program wares off, the soldier sees the blood on his hands and hates what he's done. 'We have God on our side' therefore 'we are good, they are evil' is the programming. "Our God is better then your god..." Then comes the fight...
