Following is a list of new DVDs available at the Video Store in Sebastopol in recent months, selected on the basis of my own interests, which are mainly dramas. The numbers are percentages from Rotten Tomatoes, the website that lists the percent of critics that gave good reviews to the films. If you have seen or see any of the DVDs, I would welcome your opinions.
In addition to the DVDs that got good ratings, the final section below is of DVDs where I appreciated the description, but they did not receive good reviews by critics. However, Rotten Tomatoes also lists audience reviews, and some of those films were liked more by general audiences than professional critics.
