NEED tech Help ASAp for Andy Lopez Coalition!

If you know how to set up a kickstarter or other online fundraiser can you please help?

You are probably aware of the tragic Killing of Andy Lopez a 13 yr old Latino boy in Santa Rosa.

Louie Godoy, one of the supporters of Andy is facing multiple trumped up charges for his participation in demonstrations for Justice for Andy.

We have a lawyer who is working right now for free, but he needs financial support for filings and just to get through the massive amount of paperwork being thrown at him.

Louie has had a tough life and this work for Andy has given him new purpose and hope. We do not want to see him go to jail.
Another latino, Ramon Cairo, that was harassed and arrested, has been vindicated in court by a jury of all charges after much work by the coalition and an excellent lawyer.

Now we need to get these charges dismissed against Louie and need the help of the community.

I hope someone more knowledgeable than me is getting in touch about this - I've never done a fundraising campaign like this kind before, but I started Googling around, and in addition to Kickstarter there's also one called Indiegogo https://go.indiegogo.com/pricing-fees

The link is to their fees page, but from what I can tell, it looks super easy to set one up - just need some time. I found an article in Forbes listing the 10 best: https://www.forbes.com/sites/chanceb...r-fundraising/. Looking through them I found that not all are good for Social Justice causes. Kickstart is NOt recommended so much for that but Indiegogo above is and so is Crowdrise: https://www.crowdrise.com/give/causes.
