The Memorial Hall at Enmanji Buddhist Temple, Sebastopol (1200 Gravestein Hwy S. Sebastopol)
Learn and perform the Japanese big drums with Sonoma County Taiko! The Taiko Experience Workshop is a 2.5 hour workshop that will cover the basics of taiko drumming. You will be taught a song to perform with Sonoma County Taiko at the end of the workshop. Invite your friends and family to see you play taiko! The registration fee ($45) will cover the workshop and admission for 2 guests to the 30-minute performance (6:00-6:30).
No prior experience necessary. Ages 13 and up.

Enjoy an inspiring evening of left brain/right brain stimulation with Sky Nelson, songwriter and speaker on the subject of physics and synchronicity. Sky will share his unique work on the nature of meaningful coincidences using a model that you will be able to connect to your life. If you are curious about quantum mechanics, synchronicity, spirituality and the role of consciousness in determining our destiny, you will leave with some new insights and inspirations as to how they may be connected as well as enjoy Sky’s moving and uplifting original music. Be prepared as well to explore some of your own experiences of synchronicity through a new lens.
