    Taught by Chelsea Wills, this workshop is an introduction to eco-printing. Using natural plant material this workshop will cover the basic techniques of eco-printing. Course will include walking, collecting, designing and dyeing so bring comfortable clothes (layers for different temperatures), sun protection, and water.Come make beautiful one of a kind silk scarves dyed with natural plant dyes at Dragonfly Farm! Using the abundance of local seasonal plants you will learn how to use 5 dye plants to make colors and patterns on premordanted-silk. You will learn design and dyeing basics in this day-long workshop. In addition to learning the basics of eco-printing, participants will leave with their own hand-dyed pieces and a knowledge of the steps for using readily available dye plants.
