HypnoBirthing® Natural Childbirth Classes
Sundays, September 29th - October 27th, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
311 Center Street, Suite E, Healdsburg

A series of 5 classes, taught in downtown Healdsburg. Includes everything you need to know to achieve a safer, easier, and more comfortable birth. You will learn relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to eliminate the fear and tension that cause long labor and pain, replacing it with confidence, calm, and comfort.

Course Highlights:

How the mind and emotions affect the body
Why labor hurts and why it doesn’t have to
Releasing fear – the enemy of labor
Preparing your mind and body for birthing
Visualizations for labor
How to avoid artificial induction and episiotomy
Developing ultimate depth relaxation
Understanding the stages of labor
Preparing your Birth Preferences
Achieving a natural onset of labor, free of drugs or intervention
Tapping Nature’s own epidural
Breathing your baby down for birth
Using your natural birthing instincts to birth your baby in a way that most mirrors the way nature intended
Creating a more integral role for the birthing companion

Cost: $250 per couple.

Price includes textbook and 2 CDs and the price for you and your birth companion(s) to attend all 5 classes.
One optional private hypnotherapy session with Alicia is included.
Class size is limited, so preregistration is required.
A $75 deposit holds your place in the class.

About Alicia Mutch:
Alicia has been teaching HypnoBirthing® natural childbirth classes in Sonoma County as a Certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator (HBCE) since 2001. She has over 12 years of experience in teaching these classes and served as a birth doula for many of her couples until 2010. She also birthed her own HypnoBirthing® baby in May of 2013 and experienced the calm, gentle, beautiful birth of her dreams. She holds a B.A. from UC Davis and is a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt) as well as a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, specializing in pregnancy and postpartum massage.

Ecstatic Dance Sebastopol
Announcing Ecstatic Dance Sebastopol, a weekly conscious dance on Sunday mornings at Move2Change Studio from 11am-1pm. Starting on October 6th with DJ Zack Darling.

Welcome to Ecstatic Dance, a freeform conscious dance where movement expands, spirit activates, boundaries melt and creativity expands. It is a safe and welcoming container for you to move in the way that feels right for you. Dance however you need to do it. We support each individual's range of expression while respecting our impact on each other and the space. Love, light and positive intention are an important part of the practice, and each week features a special altar created for our journey. Think of it as a moving meditation.

All are invited. All are welcome. Please bring kids to dance and enjoy the art room for free. We appreciate the smoke-free, alcohol-free, open, accepting and community-oriented atmosphere that this dances provides. Please no street shoes and keep talking to a minimum to increases the ability of people to connect inside. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Bring water and anything else you might need to groove! Cost is $15. Move 2 Change Studio
