Become a Naturalist at the Laguna Foundation

The Laguna Foundation seeks volunteers who want to learn about the Laguna and share their knowledge and enthusiasm with school children.

Volunteers learn about the plants, animals and cultural history of the Laguna and how to teach dynamic, hands-on environmental education activities for 2nd - 4th grade students. Then, teams of trained docents lead engaging classroom visits and field trips to Laguna Preserves for the Learning Laguna school program.

Informational meetings will be held on Wednesday, February 20 and Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Details can be found at www.lagunafoundation.org.

Contact Christine Fontaine for more information at 527-9277 x102, [email protected]

Lots of animals here- six dogs, chinchillas, cat, chickens.
Plus the teens will have outdoor games for all to play.

There will be 6 teens to entertain your little loves. A cap of 12 children, up to 11ish years old. We will have a ratio of 2 children per teen but of course they all interact and have fun together!
At least 2 adults will be available at all time.

$20 per child for three hours or $25 for four hours.

Our home is in West Petaluma. Coming off 101 you'd take the hwy 12 exit or 116. We are the backside of Sebastopol or it is also called Bloomfield. About 15 min from Sebastopol or downtown Petaluma. We have many beautiful areas to hike or walk out here. There are also restaurants or Bodega bay would be a blast to go too.

This is a fundraiser for 10 home-school teens who are going to Rome in June. They are raising money to split between them for lodging and food. My daughter Thea is one of them.

You can e-mail me, Margot, off list at [email protected] for signing up and more information!
Thank you from the teens!!!!!! They have raised over $500 so far.

    Sacred Sunday Salon

Temple of Isis and Isis Oasis Sacred Sunday Salons

Every Sunday at 3 pm we explore a new topic of interest followed by refreshments on the pavilion.

This Week: Sunday, December 11th, 2011 VISION QUEST - Please be prompt for this afternoon's activities.

    What is a VISION QUEST?
What does the voice in Nature have to say to you at this time? What does the voice in your heart have to communicate to you? This Sunday we will spend time with Mother Nature inviting her wisdom to Illuminate our path for the coming days, weeks, months, perhaps the new year. This is all the more important as we prepare, each in our own way, to welcome the Returning of the Light at Solstice. Blessed be.

This is the next to last chapter of our year-long study of Maggie Oman Shannon's book, The Way We Pray.

Also, join us Sundays at 11 am in the Temple Theatre for the EVOLVER INTENSIVES On-Line Course: Unlocking the Pyramid Code and our Animal Sanctuary Tour at 2 pm.
