John Prendergast - Opening to the Ground of Being

John Prendergast joins us for our monthly meeting of the Marin Open Circle, held on the first Tuesday of every month, at 7pm in San Rafael at the Falkirk Cultural Center at 1408 Mission Avenue.

John is unusual in not only being both proundly realized and a learned scholar, but he is also a marvelously warm and intuitive teacher who points to an embodied and natural sense of the awareness of being.

John began his meditation practice in 1970 and met the European sage, Jean Klein, in 1983 with whom he studied until Jean's death in 1998. John has also studied with Adyashanti since 2001, is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychology at CIIS, and an editor of both The Sacred Mirror: Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy and Listening from the Heart of Silence: Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy, Vol. II. and was the main organizer of the Nondual Wisdom and Psychotherapy Conference from 2003 to 2007. For more on John visit his website atwww.listeningfromsilence.com

Join us for this opportunity to meet intimately with John and to explore together the sense of the ground of Being. There is no need to register and though there is a suggested donation of $10-15, all are warmly invited to attend regardless of ability to contribute.
The East Bay Open Circle is part of a network of communities and teachings which
point to direct experience as a source of essential wisdom and love.
