Creating Sustainable Culture through Cooperation
Sept. 23-25, 2011
The Fellowship for Intentional Community is the most venerable and long-standing organization supporting intentional communities in the USA! Maybe the world... PLEASE sign up and bring your friends, this is the Summit we've all been waiting for.. and it's here on the West Coast, right in our own backyard! Yeeah!
This three day conference produced by the Fellowship for Intentional Community, is a unique opportunity for people and organizations to network for sustainability based on the values and practices of living in cooperative culture as a cornerstone of creating resilient communities.
The celebration takes place Friday through Sunday at Westminster Woods, a retreat facility in Occidental CA, about 70 miles north of San Francisco, nestled into the beautiful coastal redwoods.
Participants will include members of many types of intentional communities (ecovillages, cohousing, urban coop houses, student coops, etc.), community seekers, students, community organizers, and people interested in the basic principles of living more cooperatively.
