The Petaluma Arts Association (PAA) has been active in the community for over 50 years. The Association contributes to the community and to the schools' art programs by sponsoring exhibits, field trips, workshops, and docents. Art programs in the schools are an important part of the Association's activities. Presently, a scholarship is awarded to a student at Santa Rosa Junior College; a scholarship and cash awards are offered to senior art students attending Petaluma high schools' and classroom presentations by volunteers and financial assistance for special art projects are available to Petaluma schools. Art in the Park is our largest event of the year and is held every September in Walnut Park, which is located at Petaluma Blvd. South and “D” St., in historical Petaluma, CA. Donations from sales at this event provide for the scholarships for the local art students.
