Yes well what of it? No merit whatsoever?
My take on it is this: It is very disappointing and embarrassing to those of us here in Sonoma County. Makes us look really stupid and a bunch of crooks. When putting people into office or decision making positions the public needs to put emphasis on choosing people who can think and have common sense. This aspect, taken as a Press Democrat article quote, is quite ridiculous. No-one in their right mind would think this OK:
“With that simple deception, they could transform a $32 claim into a $3,500 claim, because hospitals were paid as a function of their billed charges,” the lawsuit claims.
and
The suit said that 18 months prior to the “conspiracy,” the medical center was billing an average of $118 per test, compared to $3,500 after it partnered with Durall.
The one question I might have, is since the Palm Drive Healthcare District is not implicated in this alleged fraud, what does that mean? Are those who pay the parcel tax off the hook as far as any possible financial liability? Or could it possibly add to the Healthcare district's debt?
Thank you for any additional insights.

Yes, the directors, with the exception of Jim Horn, should be parties to the lawsuit. They knew they were engaging in a fraudulent scheme. Shame on Gail Thomas and the rest of the co-conspirators. Jonathan Greenberg, care to apologize for these crooks any more?...The one question I might have, is since the Palm Drive Healthcare District is not implicated in this alleged fraud, what does that mean? Are those who pay the parcel tax off the hook as far as any possible financial liability? Or could it possibly add to the Healthcare district's debt?
