It was suggested that I combine all of my "National and International Politics" posts into one thread for ease of access and continuity ... great idea Barry!

I became involved with human rights issues when my own human rights were violated ... I won't go into the details of this because I've explained it all before, but I will say that the violations have been significant and that I am not alone ... unfortunately, there are thousands of others reporting the same Cointelpro-style abuses ...

I look around me and I see a world of concerned citizens struggling to maintain individual liberties ... I see our constitution being compromised and I see a police state forming ... I see journalists attacked and silenced and activists struggling ... I'm being told that all of our media is owned by six corporations and that our country is now ruled by corporations .... this is not a world that most people would thrive in ...

In my recent book I explore the worst of these abuses and I wish to touch upon that subject in this first posting .... I wish to share my information about non-lethal weaponry and the role that it plays in our modern world ...

Very few people understand the extent of our technological advancements in the world of weaponry ... fewer people understand that many of these weapons have now been given to our police departments ... this article does a good job of explaining this ...

I know that I'm not ... in the last two weeks both my recycling bin and mailbox were damaged, and four out of five electrical outlets in my workshop just stopped working .... most of my friendly neighbors have left and the neighbors which have replaced them are very unfriendly ... a man with military license plates has moved in across the street ... is that because, as a defender of human rights, I'm now considered a "terrorist" I wonder? ... my only real neighbor mentioned that she got death threats for fighting NAFTA before she ran up her driveway afraid that she had said too much ...

Some background information about the speakers in this interview from my personal experience ...

When I first met Deborah Tavares she suggested that I do a radio interview with Jeff Rense because I had a lot of knowledge which should be shared ... I agreed to this ... she then called back to cancel that interview because she needed to take a break from her radio interviews ( unlike her ) ... days later Jeff was in a very bad accident which almost killed him ...

Deborah is a very strong person and urged me to speak before the Sebastopol City Council about covert attacks occurring with "non-lethal" weaponry ... I refused to do so without the support of professionals who could back up my information ... undaunted Deborah spoke twice to Sebastopol City Council about this subject, reading the letter from Richmond City Council member Javanka Beckles which urges city officials to take this threat seriously.

I spoke to Deborah twice after this. During the first conversation she informed me that she was the victim of a bogus lawsuit claiming discrimination. During the second conversation she told me that she was being targeted in ways that were so disgusting that she could not even describe it. She also said that we needed to stick together. That was the last time that I talked to her. I can no longer reach her by telephone.

As dedicatedly supportive of truth as I am, I've long considered Rense and ALL his guests to be part of the controlled opposition - and they don't have to be lying to be the controlled opposition, the converse is true. It's neurolinguisticism - saying what you're against over and over with a condescending air and high repetition of specific phrases is a very effective method of spreading/implanting 'awareness', 'dread', 'fear of' and expectation of hopeless inevitability of the things supposedly being 'exposed'. He NEVER takes any calls. He is a closed, controlled system with no chance of being called on anything.

He NEVER appears in public.

He NEVER gives any interviews himself like many other interviewers.

His guest list of the same people over and over is a very short list of nearly only Jews all with the same whining delivery agenda saying Rothschild and Zionist ad nauseum.

He NEVER has ANY of the other frequent interviewees on the alternative talk circuit as guests.

I don't even know all the names on that list, but yes about Amy. I paid little attention to Amy Goodman for years assuming she was on the benign right side, then stumbled onto who she really was and really doing... and the rabbit hole got deeper again for the 1000'th time. Yep it would be wrong to discredit anyone sincere and true, but the whole point of activism is to expose myths, lies and those who are not what they appear to be - no matter who.

Your responses on Rense tell me you missed my point. Did I say Rense wasn't factual? No. I said the opposite but said it was being delivered with very very consistent NLP and added a long list of issues that added up to shill. I listened to him until about 5 years ago when the truth dawned on me and found that I was late and not alone.

Don't forget, the counterculture/new age movement was BEGUN by the shills programmed and planted by MKUltra/CIA/Tavistock as far back as Huxley. Name some. But repeating this still avoids accounting for the mountains of evidence pointing to Rense as one of the more prominent and easily exposed shills as cited for years by many. Even worse than discrediting an true activist is to claim to be trustworthy then leading people down another dark path.

When you willfully ignore evidence you choose blind affiliation whether it's defending vaccination, the official 9-11 report or Rense. Credibility and integrity is lost when you don't walk your talk - telling people there's rats in their house then act just like them by refusing to out the rats in your own house.

I read this report carefully and then did some research ... it seems that Rense left the GCN network in August of 2009 and now produces his radio program by streaming it through his own website. The only other criticism in this article has to do with his failure to comment on one particular 911 story, which is strange because he's written lots of material about 911 ... tons ...

As I've said, I don't often tune into Rense so I'm not going to spend a lot of time defending him ... and when our paths crossed my book was not yet published and there was nothing rude about this encounter ... I heard fear ...

I have no doubt that mainstream news is trying to buy and control the alternative media but that doesn't automatically discredit those who are reporting on these alternative sites, though I'm sure that the reporters have to deal with censorship ... I published the link to Amy Goodman's arrest because it's an indication of her character ...

But, with all due respect, enough of this ... I'm focused on human rights issues in this thread and I'd rather be exploring the reasons why we are now torturing and killing innocent human beings around the globe ...
