    Signup CAPTCHA suggestions

I'm a new member and looking forward to seeing what Wacco BB has to offer. I'm also a recent Guerneville transplant from Marin County.

On the signup page, I apparently need to enter CAPTCHA phrase in the correct case. Most websites I visit do not require a case-sensitive CAPTCHA entry. I'd suggest this site change the process so that the CAPTCHA entry is not case-sensitive. And/or include a statement like "Entry is case-senstive (please use UPPER CASE and lower case to match the image."

Sorry, this is one of my pet peeves.

Also, when tried to register (without being aware that it was case-sensitive ), the page refreshed, pointed out the error (though it said my entry was wrong, it didn't warn me the problem was case-sensitivity, which woudl have been great), but it also erased my selections for Password, How Did You Hear About Us, and Relationship Status. I'm used to websites erasing my password (and that is problably good for security), but it is annoying to have to reenter the other info.

I agree. Unfortunately I don't have the resource to fix these problems with the underlying software. I think I can swap out the captcha system for something else though. Thanks for the feedback and welcome!
