Does anyone know of the Skate Garden allows scooters?

I see scooters referred to in comments & a youtube clip but I was told by a community member it is only for skateboards. I can't find a current number for the park to ask regarding it's use. My grandson is coming and he uses a scooter. Congrats Sebastopol on building this amazing park. Way to go! I am impressed!

I often see scooters at the park. I am not sure what the official rules are though. Best times for younger kids seem to be the mornings. The afternoons / evenings are more for the teens, but everyone seems to get along pretty well. Not sure who to contact regarding the official rules?? Sebastopol PD? Community Center may be good places to check if WACCO doesn't give you the solid answer you are looking for. Just encourage helmet use.

Thank you for your response sharing that you see scooters at the park. I did get a hold of the planning dept., who is in charge of the skate garden, and they said their insurance would not cover scooters so scooters are "officially" not allowed.
