CD Player - Are SO Many Options

    Don't know what to get.
Lots of Amazon options (w/my 3% cash back so incentive to use Amazon).
I just need a little one to put in my bedroom. Don't need huge speakers, etc. Small is better.
Just hoping to find a reasonable one where it sounds okay.
I used to have clock radio-CD player, but likely won't find one of those again.
I see them from $17-and up.
Am considering going with a used one on Amazon - although I'll also check Best Buys and Costco first, too.
I think cheap and used might be okay for now. Think I could really get something decent for $20 (as advertised on Amazon)?
Your thoughts? Seeing brands I've never heard of before. Thanks for input. Silkworm gena

Re: CD Player - Are SO Many Options

I'm a little shocked that you are asking for advice about a CD player. How refreshing! No iPod for you, I guess. My take on this, having bought a couple of cheap CD players in the past 2-5 years, is that you won't be happy with anything in the $20 range. I think they all use the same crappy components with different plastic parts depending on the importers mood when the factory was ready to make 500,000 of them. If you're really set on spending your amazon money and get something in the $20 range, I imagine you won't still have a functional CD player in a year.

    Peace.
