Driver dies, passengers hurt in Graton collision

One person died and two others were injured in a two-car collision on Highway 116 at Green Valley Road near Graton, the CHP reported Sunday.
The Saturday evening crash occurred as the driver of a 1994 Ford Taurus didn't stop at a stop sign before trying to cross the rural highway.
The sedan was hit by an approaching pickup, Sgt. David Derczo said.
The Taurus driver, a 43-year-old Windsor man, was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital where he later died. His name wasn't available Sunday.
Passenger Ricardo Vasquez, 34, had minor injuries and passenger Antonio Leal, 38, had moderate injuries. Both passengers, Windsor men, were taken to Memorial as well.
GMC pickup driver Turberville Kohler, 65, of Sebastopol had minor injuries.
The crash occurred at 5:15 p.m.
