Chris Caswell is one of the world’s finest players and builders of the Celtic Harp. He is also a respected performer on the Scottish bagpipes, Irish flute, tinwhistle and bodhran (Irish frame drum). A true Celtic bard, folk musician and singer, he is a natural raconteur, knowledgeable historian and musicologist. His performances cast a bright spell with the music and his obvious delight in playing. His music is infused by his Welsh heritage, and by the world traditions of the Middle East and South America. Chris has, over the last 30 years built over 1000 harps for musicians all over the world.

Chris will be playing in Sonoma County in the "Rumi Caravan" at the Glaser Center, Santa Rosa, CA. on Saturday, Sept.3 at 7:30 pm. October finds him at the KVMR Celtic Festival in Grass Valley and also in Las Vegas mid-month. We're already looking forward to the Dickens Festival at the Cow Palace in San Francisco each weekend from Thanksgiving until just before Christmas. Lessons will begin again in September in Santa Cruz, Marin and Sonoma County as well. Just give a call or send an email to him at [email protected]. Details are on the website www.chriscaswell.net
