    Driving Under the Influence

Walking, Riding Your Bike, or Driving.... Please be very careful this weekend and next. There is a big wine tasting event in Sonoma County from Sebastopol to Cloverdale. There are 136 wineries participating and there will be drivers on our roads who will be drinking wine and getting behind the wheel.

wineries should supply free rides home to anyone interested, no questions asked. This stops potential problems with drunk drivers or cops just itching to hassle.

My wife is too polite. Why would anyone in their right mind celebrate 2 consecutive weekends of drinking and driving in Sonoma County?

Here is a good reason why the North county needs to press for the smart train extension ASAP.

I believe it is up to the drinker to make sure they have a safe way to get home. When going wine tasting, people should always have a non-drinking driver to cart them around or hire a car or take a wine tasting tour bus. Wineries have enough to worry about.
