Call County Supes to Ban Smart Meters until proven safe, secure, private, accurate, effect

Call/fax/email your City Council Members and County Supes to Ban Smart Meters until shown or proven to be safe, secure, private, accurate, and effective!

Please call, fax and/or email your City Council Members and Sonoma County Supervisor and request that they put Smart Meters on the next agenda, follow the lead of Fairfax, Watsonville, Santa Cruz, San Anselmo and Novato and vote to create an ordinance that would ban and remove existing RF Wireless Smart Meters until they are shown or proven to be safe, secure, private, accurate and actually effective at helping ratepayers reduce their energy usage. See your supe and city council contact info below. You are lucky if you live in Healdsburg!

Thank-you for your ongoing support to protect public health, safety and privacy!

Re: Call County Supes to Ban Smart Meters until proven safe, secure, private, accurate, ef

Very Scary thought. How can we trust the incompetent and worst power provider in the country is they are so incompetent that they have the worst safety rating of any power co.

Note on the meters if meter is not behind a fence you will have a Smart meter whether you want it or not. My Dad is kicking himself for moving his fence back for the meter readers when he replace the old fence. Told PG&E when the came through his neighborhood that he had no choice if the meter was not behind a fence. Sure enough when he was golfing the following Mon. came home and low and behold there sat the newly installed smart meter. He told them he would kick them of the property if they attempted. So did the watch to see when he was not at home? Scary thought. Or did they luck out that day. He now is furious and stuck with the Smart meter.

I believe the only way to stop the changing of our meters whether we want one or not will take a class action suit to make them stand up, listen and knock off the illegal behavior. PG&E can be disallowed from coming on your property to even read your meter. Just purchase one of the meter hand reading things with the dials, sorry don't know what its called or borrow a mean dog so the meter reader will give you one. You check your meter and put it in a front window for the reader. Perfectly legal. So take that PG&E.

Thanks for providing the phone numbers to all the various City Council Members. It was reading pretty good until I got to Windsor's: isn't Ontario, Canada a little far afield for Sonoma County activism?

Thanks Ron and sorry folks, took me a long time to copy and paste emails/addresses individually from respective city web sites and guess I wasn't paying attention - when googling for Windsor, Ca, Windsor, Ontario pops up #1. Probably because they have a concerned citizen hot line. Here is the correct info for Windsor, CA:
