Sonoma democratic party endorsements

The General Election Day is Nov. 2nd. Many of us will be voting much sooner when we receive our absentee ballots in the mail in early October. You know you will be voting for Brown and Boxer, but what about Measure W?

The Sonoma Democratic Party has our endorsement listed on our website: www.sonomademocats.com

Just go to the endorsements tab at the top to see our recommendations for everything from statewide offices to local school district measures, and everything in between. Some items to note are:

We locally endorsed prop 19, unlike the state party, which decided to be neutral.
We endorsed measure W, which we should all vote for, if we want more bike paths and less pot holes.
Dave Jones,running for insurance commissioner is a very progressive guy with the right background and experience to regulate the insurance companies during the implementation period of the new health care law.
Pat Broderick, running for Judge, is running against a Republican. We already have many Republicans on our local judiciary, as they were appointed by Arnold. We need Pat!

Still to come are endorsements in School board elections. They will be determined on September 27, and posted as soon as possible on the web site.

When I was running for Democratic Central Committee in June, I encountered voter after voter who was happy to talk to me, so that he or she could find out the Democratic Party's endorsements.
