A friend told me today that a mountain lion was seen, in broad daylight, munching on a deer in the back of Ragle....has anyone else heard about this? My property borders on the park and I have small animals....and I'm not too big myself!

Yes, my coworker and her dog came upon a mountain lion in the back of Ragle a few years ago. During that time there were warning signs about mountain lions being spotted in the area. The Atascadero waterway goes all the way to the Russian River and they travel along that route.

I was there the day this happened...I actually saw the park ranger close off part of the path...I went for the walk anyway, with a friend. We actually went to see if we could spot it and we did not see it...Many people walking by us, mentioned that they had seen it....
