The Guerneville After School Program is currently looking for volunteers who are interested in providing the following services:

*Homework help (reading, math, science etc.)
*Demonstration of a fun skill or knowledge (bead making, sewing, cooking, conservation, gardening etc.)
*General staff assistance (another set of eyes on the playground or in the classroom, another caring adult to supervise and support healthy learning and play)

You do not need any special skills to volunteer! We are just looking for responsible, caring, and passionate adults who want to make a difference!
You do not need to be over 18 to volunteer! If you are a mature teenager who is willing to help, we would love to have you!
You do not need to make a huge time commitment! You can volunteer as little or as much as you like, with any age range you prefer from K-8.

The Guerneville After School Program provides over 120 children with a safe, nurturing, educational and fun environment in which to learn and grow. Five days a week from 2pm until 6pm, our children are in the company of trained, responsible adults who are united in their dedication to fostering a healthy environment for children who need it. But we could still use your help! We believe that the more exposure children have to adults, the more likely they are to succeed socially, emotionally, and academically. Unfortunately, we cannot spend all the time we would like with children 1 on 1, but with your help, we can get a giant step closer to that ideal.
