Subject: Public Hearing on Global Warming held at SRJC March 10
Global Climate Change in California and Beyond
Is There a Way Out?
Global warming is the single most important environmental dilemma facing the world today. Scientific research indicates that the impacts of global warming on our environment are currently, and will increasingly be, very profound. Hearings on this subject, coordinated by Assemblyman Joe Nation's office, are being held in both Marin and Sonoma Counties on March 10. This hearing will provide a unique opportunity to listen to widely-respected experts. You will hear scientific data as well as projections on the effects in the future. The public will have the chance to share their perspectives and suggestions.
