    Silkie Chicks?

    Does anyone know where I can find some silkie chicks locally? I don't want to order them by mail because the minimum orders are too high for my backyard coop situation. I am seeking to find some locally that have been vaccinated for Merek's, etc. OR, if a few of us could split an order that would be nice too. Most minimums are around 25 chicks, and I really only need 2 or 3. Any tips appreciated, thanks!

    I did check Frizelle's, Western Farm, etc., but most of the feed stores focus more on quality layers than specialty breeds...
