Monsanto and the American Farm Bureau Federation are trying to convince
American Public Television and PBS member stations to launch a weekly
television series they have sponsored called "America's Heartland". In the
20 half-hour episodes to be launched in September, Monsanto and its
partners plan to paint a pretty picture of industrial agriculture and
genetically engineered crops in the United States. Tell American Public
Television and your local PBS member station you will not stand for this
corruption of public television, and that you expect to be provided
