sunday at 10:30-1 we will be doing an old fashioned "fence raising" (based on the barn raising parties of past.) we still need plywood, used is ok. we also have some available, but it needs to come off gates, & would take screws to remove.
need: food to share, we want to see this as a horse rescue community event.
(we will have utensils, plates & napkins...anyone want to take them home & wash...i said there would be something for everyone.
we will have some desert & fruit, & snacks. we could use hand food, cornbread, fruit salad, things that don't need to be kept warm, breakfast breads, pasta salad, bean salad, thermos of tea, coffee, and more. we will bring cups.

bathtub with soft edges, or old fashioned one, with curves, or water troughs.
a sign painter, or artist. (we have the board, outdoor paint, white & one color would be great, several brushes, a finer one for the sign.)

t posts, or people to move t posts. tape connectors, any one willing to buy, if not I will see if martin ranch will donate.

friedman's has been giving us 15% off.
a solar or electric charger. screws.

we want this to be an event where 20 or so people come to get together, and bring their expertise, from building, to composting (we will have a bag for compost, to taking garbage home, for almost any thing. we have some collection cans that can be placed at local stores.

our neighbor will lend us a pasture for the overflow of horses.
we need to build a simple lean to.
we are excited about this, a community to save horses lives. you will be able to meet the pasture pals that need permanent & temporary homes.

we need hose, 100 feet, 2 put together, for watering.

also rock, rubber mats in any condition, some 2 by 6's.....something for everyone.
we want to make this joyous and fun. in several hours we can put something together to save 2-4 horses lives.

we would like to make this a family event, less time efficient, but good for our souls, someone(s) to take 1/2 hour shifts to help direct children. Kids under 5 will be need to be accompanied by a one on one, or two, parent or friend.
