Does anyone have a suggestion of a place to stay in San Diego or the environs that is moderately priced, has a kitchen or kitchenette, and maybe even a view? I'm looking to go there for a holiday.
thanks

I go to SD a few times a year to visit my family. When there, I stay at the California Suites. They are moderately priced, and though I didn't use them myself, had stove, microwave, and fridge in the room. They're located on Claremont Mesa Blvd near I805. Four miles to the beach area, 5 miles from downtown, 2 miles from Mission Valley. Sadly, no view.
Their website: California Suites
If you're on more of a budget, there's a Motel Six on Claremont Mesa Blvd. too.
Have a good time!

I like Town & Country, a resort in Mission Bay.

or look at tripadvisor on the web
