    Interested in Garbage?

    INTERESTED IN GARBAGE? Recycling? Composting, Waste Reduction?
    Would you like to help Sonoma County (and the world) reach ZERO WASTE?

    LITE Initiatives, a local non-profit, whose projects include Car-Lite and Community Bikes also spearheads the Zero Waste Sonoma County campaign to help us reach a place of NO WASTE. This is a lofty goal, but achievable; and many communities have started this work already.

    Two of our members, Portia Sinnott and Sammy Nasr are long-standing, appointed representatives of the county waste-reduction commission (AB 939 Local Task Force). We are the advisory body for the county Board of Supervisors.

    We invite any of you who are interested in this effort to join our Zero Waste Subcommittee. We meet every other month.

    There are some exciting projects being considered and we welcome your fresh input.

    If you are interested, please let me know.

    Thanks, Sammy Nasr [email protected]

    Re: Interested in Garbage?

    Hi;
    I am very interested in waste management in Sonoma county.
    I have been composting on a larger than average scale for 20 years.
    I do worm composting and hot.
    I am opening an artists creative re use facility in west county.
    I have made in informal 35year study of waste illusions in California, and
    There are some changes I'd love to see happen soon.
