Congratulations to the Democrats! Nancy Pelosi - 1st female Speaker Of The House - Northern California perspectives leading congress. Gotta love it!

The Dems have an opportunity to heal our country, after so many years of negativity. I have hope and confidence that Ms. Pelosi will work to overcome petty partisan politics. I hope she will include Republicans in committees much better than the GOP did. I suggest she use the national average of elected GOPs & Dems in deciding the makeup of committees. It would be an ultimate gesture of recogniton that there is a wide national range of political opinion. Be inclusive Nancy, please.

Hopefully the Dems will take this majority period to get the U.S. started on the process of healing the damage done to our country by Rove, Cheney, Bush, et al.
