    When Animal Place heard an Iowa farm was gassing nearly 140,000 hens because of Covid, they rescued 1,000 of them and are now looking for good homes for them. There will be adoption events in Grass Valley and Petaluma. Fill out the adoption application at http://animalplace.org/adoptable-chickens/. Then, an adoption specialist will call you to make sure that this is a good fit for you and the hens!
