No partner needed! Dancing to recorded Balkan and international favorites 7:00. Gradina (Balkan choral and instrumental ensemble) dance set starts about 8:30.
With Ken Genetti, tambura, harp, and hammer dulcimer; Natalie Hicks, tambura, Tabitha Doniach, violin, and Jana Mariposa Muhar, accordion, tambura, and percussion. Special guest: Pablo Rodriguez, guitar and vocals.
Potluck snacks, and don't forget to wear red and black!
Admission $5 at the door, kids free. For newcomers, a great time to check out the Balkan dance scene. You can sit and watch/listen, or dance. Please bring dry, non-marking shoes for the dance floor.
