So...
Last you heard, our cats were missing because of our move to downtown. The orange cat found his way back to the old house in about 36 hours. We brought him back and he seemed absolutely fine roaming around the property and seemed to accept the re-location.
We had already planned a 2-day trip to Monterey. Left Tuesday night. On Wednesday afternoon, our house-sitter reported the orange cat was nowhere to be found. Not good news since at the time, we were about to embark on a kayak trip with sea otters.
When we returned today, we found BOTH CATS at the old house!!! How do they do that??? I get lost in Target.
I want to thank everyone for the support and phone calls. It's nice to know we live in a community that really cares about their neighbors, whether we've met or not.

We just moved to the Jewell Ave. neighborhood near Ives Park in Sebastopol. We tried to keep our two cats in, but last Tuesday they managed to pop a screen and escape in the middle of the night. They had no idea where they were. Two days later, the orange cat shows up at the old house. Amazing. Our grey cat is still missing. Considering the orange cat trekked the 3 miles to our old house, this beautiful little guy could be anywhere. Please keep and eye out and text or call Holly at 707-225-2261. Here's the flyer we're posting...
