In April of 2012, Daily Acts collaborated with the Town of Windsor, Permaculture Artisans, students from the WISE Academy at Windsor High School and community volunteers to transform 5,750 square feet of water-thirsty lawn at Robbins Park into a water-wise demonstration garden. 7 years later, this productive ecological garden now grows food, medicine, wildlife habitat, and wonder. It also serves as an inspiring demonstration site for neighbors ready to transform their own lawns!
Join Daily Acts for a work party to give this beautiful, blooming model site some care! Receive inspiration from festively flowering pollinator plants you can incorporate in your own garden and learn about ecologically friendly maintenance practices. We hope you will lend your loving effort to this amazing site, a few hours at a time!
While registration is encouraged, drop-ins are always welcome.
When: July 13th, from 3pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Robbins Park | At the intersection of Billington Lane and Dartmouth Lane in Windsor
Please note that we have a new registration platform and if you have not done so already, you will be prompted to create a Daily Acts username and password. We are here to help by email or by phone (707) 789-9664.
