    On Christmas Day many celebrate a man known as the Prince of Peace. On Sunday, January 20, there will be a celebration of the birthday and legacy of a more recent Prince of Peace and Justice, Martin Luther King, Jr. It's the annual event to unite the community to honor the activism of Dr. King and the Civil Rights and Anti-War movement. The event takes place at the Santa Rosa High School auditorium. Doors open 6:30 pm, Program begins at 7.

    KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Morris Turner, advocate for youth • PERFORMANCES: positive Hip Hop by MC Radioactive • Prayer Chapel Singers • Adam Ivy • Ballet Folklorico Jazmin (Folkloric dance) • Tina Rogers, spoken word • Student Presentations • Youth Art Contest and Awards

    Presented by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration Committee
