Dear Indivisibles,
Some in the media see the Republican President becoming increasingly defensive. Others assert that he's just hitting his stride. And whether he is being rebuked or praised, he is not stopping.
So it's our task to stop him.
This is not a sprint to victory. It's a marathon. And each step forward matters. Each phone call you make to our legislators reminds them that we are here, that we are watching, and that what they do matters to us. Each postcard you send to a voter reminds them that elections are won by single votes, and that who represents them matters. And each time we raise the volume and protest, we are giving hope to many who are silent.
Whether you routinely hold our elected leaders accountable for their decisions, or you are working to change which people are making those decisions, each action you take reinforces our ideal of a representative democracy.
We stop the Republicans' forward momentum every day. And we do that by taking small steps and using our outside voices.
Celebrate our victories! And continue to be prepared for rapid change.
Indivisible members learning from Joel Blackwell on March 17
We spent two hours on Saturday morning learning more about how to work with elected officials and how to address the changes we want to see in local government.
We cannot thank Joel Blackwell sufficiently for spending this time with us.
Indivisible Sonoma County and other Indivisible groups will continue to offer experiences that inform, enlighten, and entertain us as we resist the current majority's agenda.

SCRIPTS
There are some tools to use when you don't have a legislative majority. One of those tools is the media; another is to use parliamentary procedures to deny a win to the majority.
We urge our Senators and Congress members to use those tools to oppose prematurely ending the Mueller investigation and the appointment of Pompeo and Haspel to diplomatic and security positions.
Use our SCRIPTS
We could almost feel sorry for the Republican majority this week.
