The fight to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline, which threatens the water and sacred sites of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, has grown into a global movement with millions of people around the world speaking out in support of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and the rights of indigenous people.
Earthjustice is representing the Tribe in their legal challenges against the pipeline. Despite a victory for the Tribe that halted the project in December, recent directives from the Trump administration and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have given new life to the controversial pipeline.
Join us for our upcoming member teleconference on World Water Day to hear from Earthjustice attorney Jan Hasselman about the legal case against the pipeline and what lies ahead.
Please register for call-in information, and contact Sophie Roudané at [email protected] with any questions about the teleconference.
