harrys reply about water quality on Rus.river. cause /effect.

I recently read on wacco about algae blooms on Russian river ,and the various public entities that control flow on river, the withholding of water to keep mouth of river shut, for steelhead is in my opinion a stupid idea, nature is the best judge of what works, oh yeah for past million years.

The cause of problem,I think is exploitation of water sources for poorly considered growth:
(Housing) and pollution that comes with it, also the water grab by local water agencies for sale too wealthy Grape and vineyard developers, and to other counties(Marin) .

The watershed for Russian river, starts in covello, mendo county,it is a limited recourse, with many user,s It is far to precious to waste for more track homes or global vineyard, corporations, who,s CEO,s contractors could care less about local environmental impact.

Greed is the bottom line and until some people stand up to the shlubs, nothing will change, excepting the quality of the river and the land ; seen east bakersfield lately?

P.S. a local radio news release currently is claiming NO Danger from blue green algae.
Low flow is dangerous for river community. follow the money.
