( Solved ) Wondering what to do with 16 year old survival food from Y2K

I feel like I'm tempting fate, I have 100 large cans of 5 lb coffee can size inert gas filled dried foods. Most of the cans shake like their still dry inside. Their on the dump truck going to the dump. Could they be good still and would anybody want them.

As things seem to be if I get rid of them then the world comes apart

Open a few up and see/smell if they are still good. What the world faces now seems far more dire than in 1999.
