Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Thursday, November 26 from 1pm to 5pm
On Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2015 join us in Memorial Hall as we help host the 15th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. With the help of Roger & Linda Collins, the Community Thanksgiving Dinner has grown more and more each year and we want to make 2015 the biggest and best yet! Hundreds of traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinners are served (or delivered) on Thanksgiving Day in Memorial Hall at The Community Church of Sebastopol.
We always have more than enough volunteers to work this wonderful event, but we can still use your help: your donation of food items or cash will help make this event a success. Non-perishable food items can be brought to church on Sunday, November 15 & 22 (potatoes, onions, canned goods, etc.) Checks can be made out to the Community Church with a notation in the memo line: Thanksgiving Dinner.
If you would like to volunteer your time, call the church office at 823-2484 to sign up to work a 2 hour shift on either Wednesday, November 25 or Thursday, November 26.
Who is invited to the Community Thanksgiving Dinner? Anyone who might find themselves eating alone, or may not have the energy or funds to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner is invited. In fact, everyone is invited to our Community Thanksgiving Dinner to share a meal with our neighbors.
Dinners are served from 1-5 PM. We can also arrange for meal delivery or transportation to and from the dinner. Call the church office at 823-2484 to make arrangements before November 24.
