Key members of the group have spent over 20 years in dedicated study with the masters of this classical art-form in Pakistan and India and are deeply respected throughout the subcontinent. Qawwali is a passionate devotional practice in which the fire of divine love (ishq) is ecstatically expressed through the mystical verses of Sufi poets, sung in Urdu, Farsi, Hindi and Punjabi. Bring your wide open heart and prepare to be blown away, exploded into the Baraka (stream of blessing) with the first note and percussive clap.
