Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in today's NY Times

Though the PD has little to say about the rise of Bernie Sanders as a top presidential contender, the NY Times has yet another article on him today, with the link below. For information on the July 29 Go Bernie! evening at the Sebastopol Grange, check out Waccobb.net's events section. Since we can only have 200 people there, if you want to register, you should do it soon. A better world is possible.

Bernie Sanders's '100% Brooklyn' Roots Are as Unshakable as His Accent
    By JASON HOROWITZ

Those who know him detect the influence of postwar stickball games, arguments over money between his parents and the work ethic instilled in him as a long-distance runner.

If anyone wants to learn more about Bernie Sanders and what he stands for, there will be many events on July 29 live-streaming a welcome and introduction to the campaign from Bernie himself! We will be hosting one at the Grange, with a max capacity of 200 and about 115 already signed up online! So, do check out www.berniesanders.com to sign up for an event or locate the various events in our area!

Here's a petition for the County Supervisors to support Bernie Sanders:

And a brief article by the Sonoma Independent:
