It makes me feel, as I've felt so often about President Obama, that there's what used to be called a "split personality" here, as was visualized so long ago by Robert Louis Stevenson in Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. He seems so fair and honest and thoughtful, as opposed to the lunatic Republican (and even a few Democratic) lawmakers who make the most outrageous statements about all sorts of issues, obviously for no reason other than to fight the Obama Administration. Then, all of a sudden, Dr. J.(Mr. Hyde?) kicks in, and he makes some totally arbitrary, mean-spirited decision like this one. So, looking ahead to 2016, am I going to once again try to save the world from Mr. Hyde (or is he just the latest version of Bushness? Bush 3.0?) by electing Dr. Jekyll (or is she really Dr. Jekyll? Or Ms. Hyde? Or Clinton 3.0?) Dark days, friends.
