    Caesar: Tyrant or Hero?

    Julius Caesar was a dictator who abolished slavery. Caesar was very popular amongst citizens but widely hated by many in the Roman Senate, where he was assassinated.

    So, what was Caesar then? Tyrant? Great leader? Or neither?
