    A Waltz With The Sun

The 7th Annual Alpha Moon Festival Presents:

    A WALTZ WITH THE SUN

The Sun spins the Moon around,
And the Moon then spins the Earth,
And as the Earth spins her residents,
    Then a new synchronicity begins.
And we breathe this vortex in
As we dance this spiritual waltz
    On the compass needle’s points
    In our Winter Solstice exalts.
    Face the North,
    Face the South,
    Face the West,
    And face the East.
    Spinning around inside this circle
Exuding love outwards to 4 of these.

In the crush of fallen leaves,
In the rain or in the snow,
Or in the heat of a fires glow,
Let all our joys this night overflow.

    Bowing East, then bowing West
where the Sun goes down to rest
There is nothing better than this
as we waltz in harmonious bliss
On the fault line of earth and sky
We will slide into their elusive high.
In a crown of gratitude and forgiveness
We will take our new Spiritual Oneness.

Thank the waters and thank the rains
For the life that they sustain.
Thank our Ancestors for the same,
Light a candle in their sacred names.

Let your voices be freed from their vaults
Under night skies of deepest blue cobalt
As we spin in this wonderful waltz
    To embrace the morrow’s gestalt.

Take all your prayers still yet unseen
and leave them on the altar of 2014
and let this New Year begin pristine
    starting again in 2015.

As Sun and Moon waltz in delight
May there be Peace on Earth tonight.

Thank You For This Spiritual Dance

The longest night of the year belongs to the Alpha Moon Festival.
This 7th Annual Celebration on this longest night
Is to enjoy the Moon’s greatest exposure
on the shortest daylight of the year
    against the Winter’s darkest sky.
