We Voters First Responders

As someone who has been a member of fire/rescue for a West County Fire Department I am keenly aware the extra 20 minutes plus to Memorial can literally be a lifetime. Sometimes you need the advanced trauma surgery that only Memorial can provide other times it’s the speed to treatment that will determine if you survive and recover. An urgent care or mobile clinic or wellness programs won’t get the job done. The Doc and The Cop seem to understand that. Both men have been on the front lines of injury, trauma, death and life most of their lives. No one can be 100% certain the Foundations Plan keeps the hospital open this time for good. I am certain smart and dedicated people are standing by ready and willing to give it their all.

Tomorrow we voters are the first responders. Your vote could very well decide if ambulances again roll to Palm Drive and if West County First Responders have all the tools they need to save lives.
