Ivan, The Awoken Fool

What do I know, what can I say,
I was the one that walked away.
I was such a fool that I didn’t see
such a lovely woman right in front of me.
Call it fearful blindness, or an ignorant pride,
that for so long these feelings for her I had denied.
She’s such an angel and it’s plain to see,
this woman who never gave up on a fool like me.
The universe was telling me this all along
as they whispered her name in every song.
I kept on doubting yet I couldn’t believe
that love was waiting on this special eve.
I look at her face and feel every emotion
what a wonderful story of love’s devotion.
I’d move every mountain and cry a great ocean
for her big heart love I am now beholden.
It’s hard to imagine it’s hard to conceive
I was such a fool who refused to believe.
Her prayers were answered and so were mine
in search of a true love that is so hard to find.
I don’t really know what she sees in me,
this fine beauty of love and serenity.
What do I know,what else can I say?
I just love her more and more now
with each passing day.
