    Seeking boot repair

    Location:  Forestville/Guerneville/Sebastopol
    Hello!

I have a pair of boots I totally love that I would be sad to toss out.
I tried the Apple Cobbler, and he seems to be pretty busy with custom work.

Is there a dedicated shoe repair person around that some can recommend? Please let me know of your experience in the area.
    THANKS IN ADVANCE! :)

I have great luck with the guy on Mendocino, next to the Puerto Rican restaurant and Sift Bakery. He's very nice and usually the beginning quote is more than he charges.

Yes! There is a skilled repairman who owns a shop in Coddingtown just outside the North entrance near Shutterbug. He has saved four pair of shoes with various problems for me. His prices have been not cheap but seem fair. I'm glad you're repairing rather than buying new. Good luck.

I also recommend Tim at Tate's Shoe Repair on Mendocino in Santa Rosa.

There's a shoe repair shop on East Washington Street in Petaluma that did a nice job repairing the heels on my older boots (not just new soles, but actually repairing the wood, which had started to peel). Depending on the extent of the work you need done, he might be a good choice.

I don't know the name of the shop, but it's in the River Plaza just a few blocks west of Whole Foods, and the owner's name is Nick. Try this #: 707- 789-9257

Please note: I am NOT referring to/recommending the shoe repair shop on Petaluma Blvd!!

    Good luck ~
