Village Building Convergence Week at the Sebastopol Grange

Please join us today through Sunday at the Sebastopol Grange for daily Village Building Convergence activities at 6000 Sebastopol Rd., Hiway 12, on the left side slightly outside Sebastopol on your way to Santa Rosa. Following is an email from Granger Gary Abreim. We also have a 6:30 pot-luck the last Tuesday of the month, free and open to the public, after which there is a program. There is something quite amazing happening in our town and at the Grange…the Village Building Convergence.

The events and speakers and performers at the Grange are worth taking in. We had Starhawk Monday night talking about community building and empowerment and decision making processes. The Baker Family was so outstanding that they want to come back next year.

Come to the Open Village tent in back of the Grange every day in the tent from 4 – 7. Movement and yoga every day at 8. Tonight Wednesday is the Indigenation Council from 6 – 8…creation of a fairy village in Ives Park today 3 – 6. Come see our new fence under construction where you can help out from 10 – 4 every day.

Saturday Mark Lakeman who started this community building concept in Portland 14 years ago is talking at 7 with members of our city council and music to follow.

VBC is doing wonderful work and please come to experience some of it while it is happening.
