Celebration of the Life of Leslie Gardner

    ExpandGreetings All,

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of the incredible local herbal legend, healer, teacher, pianist, gardener, bright spirit, herbalist, author, and director of the Sonoma County Herb Exchange, Leslie Gardner. Leslie made her transition in the early morning hours of May 20th. Among the many hats that she wore, she is best known in the herbal community for her tireless work at the Sonoma County Herb Exchange, and for running the California School of Herbal Studies garden. She has trained hundreds of herbal gardeners and seeded a new generation of healers. We will miss her physical participation in the world. Her words and teaching live on in the multitudes of souls she has touched. Many blessings to you, Leslie, as you journey on to the next realm. May you always have an understanding of the beauty you brought, and continue to bring, to this day.

There will be a celebration of Leslie's life, and as this unfolds, information will be posted on the Sonoma County Herb Association’s Facebook page. As for the immediate future, we will have an altar for Leslie at our annual fundraiser, All Things Herbal, to be held on Sunday, June 1st, from 10am - 3pm, in conjunction with the Sebastopol Farmers' Market https://www.facebook.com/events/258393041010849

An intention will be spoken and Tibetan monks will be praying around 12:30 to 1:00. Please, feel welcome to come!
